The Laos base Project of China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Foreign Corporation

Hydropower has invested in and operated three hydropower stations in Laos under the BOOT model, namely Nanli 1-2, Nanyue 2 and Nangong 1 Hydropower Stations. With a total installed capacity of 440,000 kilowatts, they are distributed in the northern, central and southern parts of Laos. The cumulative power generation has exceeded 12 billion kilowatt-hours, effectively alleviating the power shortage problem in Laos. Some of the electricity is also exported for revenue generation, enhancing Laos' position in the regional energy market.

The 115/22KV substation project in Vientiane, Laos

The 115kV Donghexi Substation is located in Hasafong District, southeast of Vientiane, the capital of Laos, covering an area of approximately 23,000 square meters. The 115kV Dongkuo GIS Substation is located in Dongkuo Village, Vientiane City, covering an area of approximately 1,500 square meters. As the main power supply point and the hub station of the power load center for Vientiane City, the completion of the two substations will greatly enhance Laos' power "self-sustaining" function, improve Laos' position as the center of batteries in Southeast Asia, provide convenient conditions for Laos to export power to neighboring countries, and significantly enhance the safety, reliability and power supply efficiency of the urban area of Vientiane.
